"I Love this Bathroom"

We and I are so pleased with the downstairs bathroom addition you built for us. We have not had the experience of new construction in the past so we had no idea what to expect. The bathroom turned out beautifully. The layout works perfectly for my 87 year old mother – the reason for the addition. Everyday, my mother says “I love this bathroom.” You took great care in laying out the floor plan, guiding me in picking tile that would not be slippery and spending extra time in laying it out for my approval before installation. I asked you if you could mimic as closely as possible the style of the gumwood trim in our 1920’s built house, and you delivered. The woodwork looks fantastic and I so appreciate the fact that you were able to salvage the leaded glass window you removed to cut the door opening and reuse it in the bathroom. You are a true craftsman and the rare person today that takes such care and pride in the work they do. I still say, if Frank built the Leaning Tower of Pisa….that tower wouldn’t lean. Can’t wait for the remodel on the upstairs bathroom in April!

Beyond Our Expectations

Dear Frank and everyone at Prideland,

We would like to express our gratitude on our experience with your company. My husband and I were presented with what seemed to be an impossible task of not only a major house remodel but finding the right company to invest a life savings. When we started looking at building a home last year we had no idea what to expect. Then as we met with different builders we began to expect hidden costs and outrageous upgrades. Just as we were feeling discouraged we came across Lakefront Estates in Ontario. We felt at home the first time that we met Mary and Frank D'Angelo from Prideland Homes. Beautiful Homes Built to Last

My daughter and her husband had an exquisite home built in Lake Front Estates, a new subdivision in Ontario, NY. She raved about her builder, saying he was an honest hard-working man who built homes with pride. My son-in-law was equally impressed. When I met Frank D'Angelo, owner of Prideland Homes, I had to agree with them.

Frank D'Angelo knows his homes from the inside out. Over the summer, I watched the construction of several new homes. Frank worked everyday, in every house, arriving before sunrise and staying until sunset. He's not afraid of hard work and it shows in the quality of his homes.

The home that Frank built for my daughter and her husband is a work of art. The rooms are laid out exactly as my daughter wanted. All the Extras, at No Extra Cost

When my husband and I started looking to build a new home on Lake Ontario, we went to several builders. More often than not, the builders dismissed us as too young to own and maintain a quality home; they never had a lot of time to sit with us and go over what we wanted. When they took the time, the things we wanted were extras and considered upgrades. Then, we met Frank D'Angelo, owner of Prideland Homes. He shook our hands, looked us in the eye, and treated us as homeowners and friends. From day one, Frank spent lots of time listening to us. He built our dream home with all the extras we wanted. There were very few things that were upgrades because Frank uses only the highest quality resources in every home.

Workmanship and Honesty

We moved to the Rochester area in March 2005 after having lived all my life on our family farm. We moved up only knowing a few people at my new work location. Looking for a home was a whole new concept for me. My husband and daughter stayed back in Maryland while I looked at homes. After the 3rd day of looking at houses, I found the perfect house for us. When I called my husband to tell him about the house and where to look at it on the internet, I told him I was done – I had found our home.

The house was beautiful, but what really sold it was Frank. Frank looked me in the eye when he answered my questions; he took me through each room, on every level and with pride talked about how he built our home. Frank is the only builder I saw who actually still did the work. I told my husband I felt like I was dealing with someone I’d known all my life. Frank and Mary are tied into the local community and have helped us tremendously with contacts as we re-establish ourselves.

Frank has such a sense of pride and ownership in every aspect of his work – from grading the lot to installing ceramic tile to making sure we have all of the booklets and information on all electrical and mechanical devices in our new home. We made a true investment when we bought this home and the right decision in buying a house by Prideland Homes.
