True Craftsman

We and I are so pleased with the downstairs bathroom addition you built for us. We have not had the experience of new construction in the past so we had no idea what to expect. The bathroom turned out beautifully. The layout works perfectly for my 87 year old mother – the reason for the addition. Everyday, my mother says “I love this bathroom.” You took great care in laying out the floor plan, guiding me in picking tile that would not be slippery and spending extra time in laying it out for my approval before installation. I asked you if you could mimic as closely as possible the style of the gumwood trim in our 1920’s built house, and you delivered. The woodwork looks fantastic and I so appreciate the fact that you were able to salvage the leaded glass window you removed to cut the door opening and reuse it in the bathroom. You are a true craftsman and the rare person today that takes such care and pride in the work they do. I still say, if Frank built the Leaning Tower of Pisa….that tower wouldn’t lean. Can’t wait for the remodel on the upstairs bathroom in April!

Beyond Our Expectations

Dear Frank and everyone at Prideland,

We would like to express our gratitude on our experience with your company. My husband and I were presented with what seemed to be an impossible task of not only a major house remodel but finding the right company to invest a life savings. My mother who has been extremely ill could no longer function in her home and needed an environment suitable for recovery.

What seemed to be months of interviews with countless contractors trying to get our business I left the meeting with Frank hoping he would take our business. Dear Frank,

I just wanted to let you know again how much I appreciate the wonderful job you did with the sunroom addition. The new room really adds value to the house, and I now have a beautiful view where there was a blank wall before. It gives me great satisfaction every time I walk into the room and look around.

Your total commitment to high quality work and customer satisfaction, first and always, impressed me, because it’s rare these days. The addition is so well built no one would guess it wasn’t part of the original house. I especially appreciated your suggestions as we went along. The changes to the deck and the new sidewalk really add to the value of the whole house. And you were even fussier about the painting than I think I would have been!

I also appreciated your concern to communicate with me regularly so I always knew the progress on the job. You stayed right on schedule, and let me know what was going on every step of the way - I never had to call you to ask about progress. The few times I had a question, you usually answered the phone immediately, and if I had to leave a message you returned the call quickly. Also, the way you write your contracts makes it very clear what work is to be done, so there are no misunderstandings at the end of the job.

In short, working with you was a pleasure, and everything about how you approached the job gave me peace of mind. As you know, I already have a few other projects in mind that we will be scheduling. If you ever need to give a reference to a prospective customer, please feel free to have them call me. I’d be very happy to show the room to anyone who wants to see an example of your work.

Prompt, Comprehensive Service

Prideland Home Improvement, LLC did a wonderful job on our garage floor. We have been enjoying our new concrete floor for a little over a month now. They also replaced our door into the house and closed up a window in the basement that opened into the garage.

There were many reasons we appreciated and would recommend Frank D’Angelo and his company. We were pleased with their promptness, how they kept their word, stayed on schedule, their attention to details, and especially their willingness and availability to discuss things about the job with the customer to be sure the customer had input, and were left comfortable with why and what they were doing things the way they were. Their written contract was precise and well thought out. Nothing was and afterthought and there were no “unplanned” surprises. Everything was done in a careful manner with lots of communication.

Frank goes way out of his way to please his customers and is often on-site doing and overseeing the work. When he does a job for you, you feel like its teamwork between the homeowner and Prideland. You work together to get the repair done and if you have any questions, Frank is just a phone call away.

Frank listens well, he’s courteous and professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. (And even though his company is justifiably called Prideland he’s really very humble!) You’ll get what you paid for with Mr. D’Angelo and it’ll be worth every penny.

Dear Frank,

As we reach the completion of our remodel and addition, we just wanted to thank you for a job that was everything we expected, and hoped, it would be. When we were considering beginning this project we were confident, having worked with you in the past at our previous residence, that you were the contractor for this job.

Your workers were an extension of you and reflected your professionalism, knowledge and respect for other’s needs. Ray, Mark, and Adam were punctual, polite, neat, informative, and most of all, skilled in their professions. Even the sub-contractors Chuck and Dale were helpful and responded to our changes and needs with a series of “no problem”.

Again thanks for everything and for delivering the addition and remodel that we dreamed of. You have helped us to stay in a house we love, that we had begun to outgrow, and now can grow with some more.
